New ear piercings or donate blood?

I can't decide if I want to get mmore ear piercings or have the opportunity to donate blood at my school. In one ear, I have two lower ear peircings and one cartilage piercing. In the other, I have three lower ear piercings and two cartilage peircings. I really want one more in each ear, maybe another lower ear peircing again because cartilage peircings frickin hurt. But if I do, then I wont be able to donate blood when the blood bank come to my school. The rule is your piercings have to be a year old before you donate.
I know, I know, you guys are all thinking, Duh! Stop being superficial and save some damn lives. But here's the thing! I tried to donate blood last time and I couldn't. They couldn't let me! My heart was beating too fast because I was nervous. And now I'm thinking, What if I keep trying and I never can do it because I'm too anxious and can't handle myself?
Anyways, my parents do this thing where for every A I get on a report card they let me get another piercing, but only if there is no D's or F's. So that is probably going to be the deciding factor in this situation!

Summer

School is almost out. I'm a junior, so this is going to be the last summer break of my free education. After this summer, I'm gonna be a senior and college will be next. This is the last summer I'm going to have as a technical kid, so I'm gonna make the most of it.
Some plans include hitting the midnight premeire of the last Harry Potter. I swear to God I'm going to cry like a goddamn baby after its over. I mean, I've been reading the books since third grade. I've watched every movie religiously, hit up every single midnight release of the new books at my local Russo's, and basically grew up with the series. And its going to be over. Thats friggin depressing.
My boyfriend might also score some tickets to this awesome concert, where a few different band s will be performing. Hopefully that will work out, because, believe it or not, I've never been to a concert. Ever. Shocking, I know.
I also have a "cool" job selling, like, jam and stuff at farmers markets. Pay's pretty decent but it kind of sounds like a dull job. But hey, money is money right?
As the Beatles said, "Ob-la-di, oh-bla-da, life goes on!"

Funny Tidbit from my Childhood

Hey, everyone!

I was stumbling around the internet today and found this hilarious site, iusedtobelieve.com. It reminded me of something I used to believe when I was a kid.
My family and I went camping every year with a group of friends. Haylie was a year younger than me and my best friend. When we were camping one year when I was 7 and Haylie was 6, there were only Porta-Potties available and Haylie refused to pee in them. She insisted that all the pee and everything else in there sat there for years and it turned acidic. She told me that if you pee too hard in there, all the acidic pee would splash back up and hit your butt and thats how you get the flesh eating disease.
     It terrified me.
Obviously, I never peed in the Porta-Potty. We found secluded corners in the forest to take care of business. I still have issues with them today, even though I know its not true.

I'm about to embark on a 6 hour drive.

My little sister, Sam, is an accomplished yellow tip in taekwondo. She has a tournament tomorrow, and we're setting off to the great city of Las Vegas, Nevada. But don't be fooled. Even though it sounds very glamorous and exciting, one must remember I'm 16. No gambling for me.

16 year old girl + trip with mother and sister = extreme boredom

So! On to happier and more interesting topics. After I post this, I'm going to hook up my blog. new layout, pictures, music, and other very exciting and inticing things will be in place to make my blog, well, the shit. We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck, everyone!

Introductions

Hey, everyone. Welcome to my blog.

Well, since this is my first post, I suppose introductions are in order. My name's Jessi. I'm 16, from somewhere in the searing heat of southern California. I love punk and indie music, I'm a diehard Harry Potter fan, and I have the special skill of baking some kick ass cakes. If you stick around, you'll grow to love me.
I haven't decided what I want to do with this blog yet. All I know is I have a witty sense of humor and some pretty awesome writing skills. For those of you who don't know, brilliant humor + legit writing = fantastic blog.
I'll have a new post soon. Thanks for reading!
